First Snowfall

South Fork in the Fall

A few friends/coworkers and I headed out to South Fork Eagle River

Cody and I did this trail back in July but I had wanted to come back to see all the fall colors

So pretty

So I ran up to get better pictures (luckily I actually had my binoculars) We saw 5 in all, a bull with his ladies

It almost got sunny on our hike back

Playing Chicken

First experience with cooking whole poultry by myself (thanks to my sister's recipe and our new dutch oven)

And Saturday I came home and Cody told me he hadn't seen Caillat in a few hours, so we starting looking for her and determined that she must have darted out the door a few hours before when Cody took Wilson outside. As soon we open the front door, she's sitting at our stoop. Silly cat...

Caillat slept that entire evening

Wilson was largely unaffected, but we think he missed her

And today I caught Wilson contemplating going outside, but just couldn't decide...
