Texas Vacation

My class is done and Cody and I are enjoying our 'Texas Vacation', so aptly named due to my misbooking of airline tickets. We're enjoying some beautiful weather as we wait for the Texans traffic to die down before heading out. Here are some of our adventures:

I recently received notification that I passed the IBCLC exam and am now an International Board of Certified Lactation Consultant!

Sayonara, America!

It's official: we're moving to Japan! We'll be leaving Alaska in April and will arrive in Japan in May.

About a week and a half ago, Cody and I were able to get away to complete the last hike on my Alaska must-do list. We braved the rainy forecast and lucked out, except for the harsh dead-fish smell along the creek.

While the snow hasn't made it to our neighborhood, the last rain/snow shower left the mountains beautifully covered in a fresh dusting. We sure will miss the beauty of this scenery when we leave!
