Finished Dresser

Cody put in some long hours in the garage to complete the dresser refinish. He's had this dresser since he was about six years old and it was built by his grandfather. Perhaps Cody inherited a few of his woodworking genes...? I think it looks great!

Cody and I have been having a fairly quiet January... wishing for some snow fall. Alaska's weather this winter has been a little odd compared to what we've become accustomed to. However, the moving plans continue, with medical appointments and countless forms. The pets are both cleared for travel, now just awaiting flight reservations for mid- May for arrival in Japan. More to follow... oh, and just 10 days before we're enjoying the sunny weather of Hawaii!

Happy New Year! 2014 Review

Cody and I were very blessed this year. We can't wait to see what 2015 holds for us- a big move coming up, as well as job changes, good-byes and hellos! Cheers to the new year! (and no, I promise I didn't post ALL of our hiking pictures)
