| Waiting for the show at Taproot |
| Cody and I |
| Hockey is exponentially more entertaining with bingo |
| Out of order, but we spent part of that afternoon at the coffee shop playing cards, and resolving the raven vs crow debate |
| Brie and apples |
| Soup of the week: Cauliflower with bacon and artichokes (we got to use Erin's new immersion blender) |
| Out of order, but we found this fantastic (mm, sense the sarcasm) Christmas light house, which had one light display to Amazing Grace/Cotton Eye Joe... classy |
| Scenery in Eagle River |
| Erin's part of the 33% club! |
| It was a little chilly up skyline dr |
| Caillat tolerates a little attention only if she's hungry |
| And here I am, never winning Triominos |
| Come to think of it, I didn't win any games that night. sad. |
| Wilson didn't win either |
| Cody's skeptical about New Year's Eve, but he looks good in his new sweater from Kayla! |
| Downtown Anchorage on New Year's Eve |
| Underwhelming ice sculptures |
| Risky death on the ice skating rink |
| A little New Year's morning delight |
| Obviously sisters. |
We had a delightful time hosting Erin for Christmas and New Years on her semester break from teaching. Perhaps Wilson misses his bedmate most of all, not to mention the extra two hands for ear rubs. We still have upteen million episodes of House Hunters on our DVR, but for some reason, it's not as fun without the bets on picking house 1, 2, or 3. Thanks again for making the trip!
