Sweet Summertime

Wilson was lonely as he waited for Cody to get out of work
Apple pear pie- delicious (crust still needs work)

Did you know you can regrow green onions by placing the roots in water?

Well, there you go (would be especially fun for Taya & Rory, I think)

Moose outside one of labor rooms last week, nosey moose
How the majority of our summer nights will look... Cody enjoys relaxing by the firepit in the evening and it's been sunny and 70 for the past 5 days

Our garden! I've since finished the other side with flowers/herbs and added brussel sprouts left over from a friend's garden

The leaves are finally budding, the snow is receding and the spinkler's going!

View from Wilson and my lookout on Memorial Day
Baby moose born outside our labor and delivery unit last weekend

Mom wasn't too sure of us watching them
Hair standing up on her back isn't a good sign (she's collared since she's a base moose)
After a long winter and cold spring, we've all been spoiled by this lovely weather. The forecast calls for rain this weekend, so Cody and I are hoping it holds off for our impromptu camping trip this evening. We're headed south to Ptarmigan Creek to hike/camp before heading back tomorrow.
