-14 is hockey weather

Although our date night didn't go quite as planned (the restaurant we chose had a burst water main), Cody and I enjoyed a (cold) night out. After dinner downtown, we headed to the Alaska Aces hockey game. The Aces won 4-2 (Cody missed the first two goals while he was reading the program). It was a lot closer than the score indicates, as the opposing team went no goalie in the last minute (never seen that before). And no, we still haven't figured out offsides.
We're officially a double Sperry couple and couldn't be happier about it

The rink (slightly larger than Lincoln's)

It was so nice to see a Nebraska flag!
Enjoying the game
I thought I'd share a delicious recipe we made this morning for breakfast. The only thing I'd change would be to grease the wax paper. (We used Mom's raspberry jam: so delicious!)
