The massive melting, re-freezing, draining, melting, slushing process of snow removal here in Alaska is here. And among native Alaskans, it's referred to as 'the break up'. All I know is it's a slushy, sloppy mess all around town.
Cody had a successful trip to San Antonio but is sadly still enroute to Anchorage after his plane from Chicago had a fuel leak. We're anticipating a morning arrival (we hope). The pets and I enjoyed a largely uneventful week, taking advantage of the sun when we could.
