Although we thought we left early enough for church this morning, we got to enjoy Easter Mass from the parish gymnasium. We were graciously invited over to Cody's boss' house for Easter/The Masters brunch following church. We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and a lonnnnngggg afternoon of golf. (I did have to take a quick catnap toward the end of the rounds, and apparently nobody noticed, whew).
Afterward, we took advantage of dwindling daylight and headed to the park. What a lovely Easter and celebration of Cody's first anniversary, so to speak. :) Enjoy a few pictures from our weekend:
We broke the all-time snow record here in Anchorage this weekend, much to our chagrin. 134 stinkin' inches
I came home to a few 'hidden' eggs, including this one the moose seemingly laid
Opening his Easter 'boxsket'
Headed to Easter Mass (Cody may have said a few unkind words over his bitterness at his sister-in-law's tie wrapping job, still lingering from Christmas)
Preoccupied with chewing a treat
Easter beaver!
The sad state of a majority of trees around the lake
