Oregon

Cody was finally able to meet some of my extended family, and what an adventure is was. We put over 800 miles on our rental car so our trip wasn't overly restful, but fun nonetheless. Enjoy a few pictures from the first part of the 'vacation':
Waiting and more waiting to board in Anchorage

Along the historic highway

Someone had to jump on the ledge wall

Our spiffy Chevy Malibu

First waterfall

Oregon still had some fall colors

Artsy fartsy

Another new stopping spot

Overlook of I84

Bridal Veil Falls

Mom and I

A randomly but well executed picture by my dad

Excited to find a stamp for my passport, even if it's wasn't 'official'

And he was excited about his Multnomah Falls pressed penny

First one of the trip!

And there she be!

Photography by my dad

New things we tried with lunch in Hood River

Starting in on projects right away

Goofy

Typical western on in the background

Showing him some pictures

How they spent the Husker game...

No more trees in the front yard... I had a hard time adjusting

More teamwork

Mom and Lauren... so adorable!
Learning how the cowgirl rides..

the 'game' of Pinochle: it was more like the game of 'Set', if you will

The intensely quiet game of Checkers

I helped too!

Finishing up Sunday afternoon

Found some strawberries!

And I shared too!

I began to hear rumblings about always having the camera out

So begins the usual set of pictures before departing

Cody's first time in Pendleton

The whole gang

Father-in-law picture

The vibrant fall

On the road again...

There's some bighorn sheep in here somewhere. Yeah, I didn't see them either.

Steam engine train (I think)

He was falling...
