While Cody headed back to work after taking a few days off while his sister was in town, Wilson and I enjoyed a few beautifully sunny fall days here in AK. We hit a couple trails (of course, what else would be do?!). Enjoy a few pictures below...

| Headed out on the Turnagain Arm Trail from Potter |
| Utilizing the camera remote |
| Down the trail with Sleeping Lady in the background |
| Pensive Wilson |
| Beautiful fall colors! |
| One of my very favorites |
| Loving these blue skies! |
| And as we neared the trailhead, a train rolled by |
And yesterday, Wilson and I headed to the Hillside to catch our a sunny, but steeper trail. It was equally as rewarding:
| View of the mountain, some 200 miles away but still visible |
| a couple lady mooses |
| I was so proud to spot this fellow, but little did I know, I'd just missed a duel in prime rutting season. darn. |
| Downtown Anchorage |
| Patiently waiting for me as I took yet another break on the steep climb |
| So happy to reach the 'peak' and roll in the snow |
| Climbing the ridge on what I believe is Little O'Malley peak....? |
| Another view |
| Sweaty but happy, nestled in between Sleeping Lady and Mt McKinley |
| Wilson's artsy fartsy pic of the day |
| I enjoyed these cloud formations, and of course the view |
| Yet again |
How nice it has been to have a couple clear, dry days! The temperatures are dropping, however. It was only 25degrees this morning and created a significant frost delay on the course. As if the cool temps weren't enough, our daylight is weaning as well. Our sunrise is at about 8:30am and a (shockingly early!) sunset of 6:55pm (I almost wish I hadn't looked that up). I'm determined to keep a positive attitude this winter, to include more Vitamin D and sunny weather, I hope.
