The first spot- confirmed.
They swam right in front of the bow- of course I was just frantically snapping pictures and trying to see them in person to get very good pictures
First wild shark!
and... back to enjoying a few mai tais
A view back to shore. The rest of the ride was largely uneventful. They said it was very strange not to see anything at all- even after dropping the hydrophone, we still didn't hear any action
But there was penny press actioin!
And, then somehow landed in happy hour- Huggo's turned out to be our favorite place on the island!
We arrived just in time for a prime sunset viewing spot on the sand-floor clad restaurant
Hawaiian rainbow and Mai Tai...
And a really cute hawaiian dancer
And there she goes...
We enjoyed dinner just as the sun was going down- fresh mahi mahi tacos for Cody and a fried rice plate for me (Cody proclaimed them the best fish tacos he'd ever had)
Then a little live music started, real Hawaiian dancer this time
